Buddy is a 4-year-old Pittie mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Weighing in at 82 pounds, this handsome boy is full of life and loves to stay active-he’ll thrive in a home that can keep up with his high energy and zest for fun.
Buddy is incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with his people. Once he trusts you, you’ll have a devoted companion who’s always ready for an adventure, whether it’s long walks, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out by your side.
He can do well with other dog friends outside the home, but he’ll need very slow and thoughtful introductions to set him up for success. Because of his strong prey drive, Buddy is not suited for a home with cats or small animals.
Buddy would do best in a home with children aged 12 and up who can understand his size and energy. With the right structure, patience, and love, Buddy will absolutely shine.
Buddy is having a break from the shelter life and spending some time in a foster home. Buddy is still available for adoption. Please call the shelter if interested in meeting him, as an appointment will need to be arranged.
