Meet Gimmick! This handsome guy is currently enjoying his time in a foster home. Here’s what they have to share about him:
“Gimmick is a sweet boy with a ton of love to share with his forever family. He is an irresistible guy who loves to be pampered. He adores being brushed and cuddled and shows his appreciation with purrs and biscuit-making. When he first came to his foster home, he was very scared and nervous, and he wasn’t feeling very good. Once he started feeling better and he figured out he was in a safe place, his charming personality emerged. He is very social and likes to chat, play and have his naps on the couch, always nearby whoever is sitting there.
Gimmick has some mobility issues, but they do not bother him. He can climb up on a couch, but that is about the limit for him. You don’t have to worry about him jumping onto counters! He is also not very quick, but he always gets where he wants to go! He takes a medication for pain that gets mixed into his wet food. He also gets ear drops once a day for maintenance. He is not impressed with that but loves the ear rubs afterwards.
Gimmick would like to be the only pet in his forever home and preferably in a one-level home with only adults. Because of his big paws, he also does better with wood pellets for litter rather than clumping cat litter.”
*Gimmick requires Burows ear medication long-term for maintenance (has a history of an ear polyp) and Gabapentin for pain management long-term (early IVDD). Both will need to be continued through your own vet.
