Eclair the dog needs a new home in the Dartmouth area

Meet Eclair – a sweet and gentle little lady who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Since arriving in care, her confidence has continued to grow, and she loves spending time with the people she trusts most.

Eclair may have limited hearing and some visual impairment, so she relies on patience, consistency, and gentle guidance from her people. Many everyday experiences are still new to her, including leash walking, car rides, grooming, and house training. She will need a calm, understanding home willing to help her continue learning at her own pace.

Eclair also has some ongoing medical needs, including mild arthritis and mobility concerns, and may require lifelong pain management to keep her comfortable.

About this column:

Each week we feature animals available for adoption from local shelters in the Halifax area with the hopes that our readers will assist in finding good homes for them. If you, or someone you know, has the resources to take care of one of these animals, please do get in touch with the appropriate shelter via the links provided.
