Dakota the dog needs a new home in the Dartmouth area

Dakota is the perfect mix of sweet, silly, and soulful. This lovely girl can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and kindness, and she quickly blossoms into an absolute ray of sunshine. Once she trusts you, Dakota’s playful personality shines bright – especially when there’s a tennis ball involved!

Fetch is Dakota’s favourite game, and she takes it very seriously. In fact, if you aren’t throwing the ball fast enough, she’ll let out the cutest little howls to remind you to keep the game going. Her goofy enthusiasm is guaranteed to make you laugh every single day.

Dakota would thrive in a home where she can continue building her confidence and enjoy lots of playtime with her people. Because of the hound mix in her and her strong prey drive, Dakota would do best in a home with no cats or small animals.

Dakota would do best with someone home most of the time to work with her anxiety and potty training.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with endless love, laughter, and fetch sessions, Dakota may just be your perfect match.
