Meet Carla! This sweet girl is currently enjoying her time in a foster home. Here’s what they have to share about her:
“Carla is the sweetest, calmest little soul who is ready to find her forever home. She absolutely loves soaking up the sunshine by the window, where you’ll often find her curled up enjoying a peaceful nap. She also has a playful, goofy side! She loves her tunnel and will chase after little balls during playtime. She gets quite into playing, and it’s the cutest thing.
One of Carla’s favourite things is napping next to you on the sofa. She hasn’t quite discovered the magic of lap naps yet, but she loves being close and keeping you company.
When Carla first arrived, she was unsure and didn’t quite know what to expect from people. Like many cats, when she felt uncertain, she would sometimes react first and figure things out later. But within a couple of days of patience and respect for her space, she completely blossomed. Now she seeks out affection, rubs against your legs, enjoys gentle belly rubs, and gives the cutest little head bumps to say hello.
Carla would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands cat body language and can give her the time to open up on her own terms. In return, she’ll be an incredibly sweet, peaceful companion who brings warmth, comfort, and a little bit of goofy charm to your home.”
* Carla is taking Gabapentin twice a day to help manage stress. This will need to be continued through your own vet.
